Mother Trucker, Web + Mobile App Design Case Study

Mother Trucker, a mobile app and desktop website incorporated with responsive web design, developed in Adobe XD.
Helping women truck drivers find safe pit stops and build a community.
Below is my primary user persona, alongside my empathy + journey map to better my understanding of the user, Ruth.
Issues I found with this user group include: Finding a safe pit stop before their max driving time is reached, eating healthier, and building a fellow women trucking community.
After building my persona and user journey map, I created paper wireframes for both mobile and desktop devices; and a site map as a guide.
Below shows my digital wireframes for both mobile and desktop versions, which allowed me to proceed to the low-fidelity prototypes for each.
After lo-fi prototype was completed, I carried out a usability study to get feedback and make needed changes to the product.
Shown below, is a JamBoard I developed during my usability study with pointers made by users to support further design decisions.
Below is the design system in XD that helped me create the mockups and high fidelity prototypes for the visual brand consistency.
While developing the design system, I began creating the mockups and high-fidelity prototypes, shown below.
